My Experience with Balea Hand Cream Pomegranate:
The packaging reminds me of my childhood days when Borosil was used like a magic cream. This hand cream comes in a tube packaging with a screw cap. I normally would not prefer a screw cap since it’s not convenient to close the cap while balancing the hand cream on hand. But, here is an exception.
The cap is so cute and looks pretty. I do not mind this screw cap at all. The shape of the cap is also multi-cornered so provides easy grip. The tube, as well as the cap, are made of plastic. When you first look at it, it feels like metal, but once you touch you realize that it’s not metal. The problem with metal was the sharp edges; they could hurt.
The packaging is very similar to Crabtree and Evelyn hand creams. I have seen that many brands are moving towards this kind of packaging. The plastic tube is easy to squeeze and the quality of the plastic is good. It does not feel like a drugstore hand cream packaging at all. The opening is pretty big for discharging the product. One needs to squeeze softly to control the amount of product.
The color of the tube is metallic silver with beautiful pomegranates printed on it. I find the packaging very cute. The colour of the cream is white and is quite thick in consistency. The hand cream feels or creates a slightly cooling sensation when used. Normally, Balea products feel slightly greasy and I was expecting the same from this but it turned out to be non-greasy.
Of course, if used in a large quantity, it will feel greasy, but a little goes a long way. The hand cream gets instantly absorbed. The fragrance is mild and does not smell fruity. It does not smell like pomegranates for sure. The palms feel well moisturised for over 2 hours or so and then start feeling dry again.
The cream has to be reapplied every few hours. Since it’s so small (the packaging) it fits into a clutch too. I love travelling around with this hand cream. It’s perfect to keep in a handbag too. Overall, it’s a good hand cream, which performs well for its price.
Pros of Balea Hand Cream Pomegranate:
• Mild fragrance
• Creamy texture
• Quite moisturizing
• Perfect packaging
Cons of Balea Hand Cream Pomegranate:
• Reapplication required every 2 hours
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Would I Repurchase Balea Hand Cream Pomegranate?
I love trying different hand creams and this is not the best one I have used to date. So, I don’t think I will go for it.
Would I Recommend Balea Hand Cream Pomegranate?
Definitely. It’s an inexpensive but effective hand cream. The results are not instant or as effective as Crabtree and Evelyn’s but this cream isn’t bad either.
